SAT – sentence completion discussed with strategies for test improvement and self-corrected practice test; post test given (see me to make this up if absent; apply strategies while testing)
Homework – revise your 1st body paragraph then edit it; compose your 2nd body paragraph per writing notes & if time permits, start your 3rd body paragraph using evidence from the end of the text
Pds. 2 & 6:
Note-return any Heart of Darkness books please; all m. choice exam corrections must be done by 3 pm on Fri (I have to leave by 3 on Fri. also); senior project mentor hours- what is your status?; I’ve already received to mentor evaluations by mail.
Chpt. 5 – discussion wrap up of remaining poems: Subaltern, Toads, It sifts with leaden sieve; planted idea seed for allegorical narrative
Homework – chpt. 6 with poems & exercises on paper for: the road not taken, a noiseless patient spider; the sick rose; digging; to the virgins, to make much of time; fire and ice; curiosity, sun and moon
