Phase 1 of Tess
Returned open ended essay #4 (in pd. bskt. if absent)
Reread essay, highlight ob. sheet & review one sheets for open ended essay 5 tomorrow
Pds. 2, 4 & 6:
No SSR
Submit redrafted body para. (staple rewrite to front of 1st draft)
Pd. 2 only – read to 239, Proctor, “This woman never thought she done the devil’s work.” We will quiz out of Act 4 tomorrow; wrap up s. guide with rdg.
Pd. 4 only - read from pg. 234, Eliz., “I think that be the devil’s argument.” to end & quizzed on Act 4 (if absent, schedule asap)
Pd. 6 only – read from pg. 232, Danforth, “There will be no postponement.” to end & quizzed on Act 4 (if absent, schedule asap)
Homework – study Acts 3 & 4 vocab. for vocab. quiz tomorrow; we’ll review & format for thurs. exam on the entire play tomorrow
