Pds. 1 & 5:
Irony (prose style device) discussion (get notes from a peer)
Distributed “The Oval Portrait” prose (if absent, in red tray)
Homework – read prose handout & annotate devices of imagery, diction, organization, pt. of view & irony for discussion tomorrow
Pds. 2, 4 & 6:
Unit 5 vocab. given for next week (wed. – sentences & defs; fri. – quiz)
Pd. 2 only – worked on finishing “Civil Disobedience” with s. guide for tomorrow or Unit 5 vocab
Pds. 4 & 6 only – “Nature” & “Self Reliance” quiz; in class imagery worksheet (schedule asap for both if absent)
ALL pds. – “Civil Disobedience” with s. guide due tomorrow; be ready for discussion
