Used “rhetoric sheet” from yesterday, identified modes of discourse found in sermon, who speaker is, who intended audience is, & “appeals to readers” – get from a peer asap if absent

Distributed “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” Text

Began annotating it with the class using the “devices” listed on the bottom of the “rhetoric sheet”

Homework – read & annotate text for tomorrow
