Introduction to Prose Unit with discussion of hdouts:
Prose style devices (hdout in tray if absent)
Prose terms (hdout in tray if absent)
Prose Rhetoric & its use (hdout in tray if absent)
Homework – create a Mnemonic for oral quiz on 15 prose style devices tomorrow & finish reading back of Rhetoric hdout for tomorrow
Final exam includes prose terms test (review with flashcards) & Growth benchmark
Pds. 3, 4 & 5:
Discussed our final exam (see me or a peer)
Finished Thoreau video (schedule time to see as needed)
Reminded a number of students that they haven’t completed make up work – see blog or print lesson plan sheet
