Continued senior project speeches (ok if not memorized; ok to use written copy; working on content perfection first; work on incorporating tech/visual component; everyone presents this week)

Pds. 3, 4 & 5:
Discussion of “Oh Captain, My Captain” by Walt Whitman (online if absent)
Poetry notes begun & applied to Whitman poem (if absent, must get from a peer and relate to the poem)
Assigned creative writing poem for tomorrow – typed or hdwritten, title optional, minimum 1 quatrain, include rhyme scheme of couplets or alternating rhyme; consider speaker and occasion, include one phrase from “Dead Poets Society” list; staple list & highlight phrase on list & attach poem to it
