June 3, 2013 lesson plans





Pds. 1 & 6:

Pd. 1 – finished Act 3 reading (quiz tomorrow)

Pd. 6 – finished reading Act 2 & completed quiz & read to scene 2 , Act 3, Prince, “You know he does.” (quiz after reading tomorrow)



Pds. 3, 4 & 5:

Did you complete intro. & first couple of body paragraphs on essay per Fri. assignment?

Last minute questions that might have surfaced on fig. devices or organization/development of research paper so far?

Introduction to Sound devices: notes, powerpt. on rhyme scheme (alternating rhyme, couplet), within lines of poem for assonance, consonance, alliteration & onomatopoeia, repetition and refrain (if absent, imperative you schedule time for powerpt. & any questions/concerns you might have)

Homework – look for, identify and begin to interpret the sound devices in your poem for that part of your research paper

Don’t forget – wed. we start dramatic readings of your memorized poems – yeah!
